Welcome to my mini Escaflowne Music page! I don't have much to offer due to the limited hard drive space provided, but I assure that you get your money's worth :)

Before downloading any files, make sure you have the Winamp player to work them. I highly recommend Winamp. It's easy to use and is very customizable. Also, if you don't already have software that resumes broken downloads, get Getright. Most servers these days permit resumption of broken downloads.

What's New

October 25, 1998
Basically did some maintenance work. Cleared up some dead links, nothing too major. I did have added a song called Cat's Delicacy, but I had to clear out some others since the server I've uploaded them to doesn't seem to be responding. So...if anyone's kind enough to offer some server space on their FTP site, please let me know.

Someone has been kind enough to offer me a sizeable chunk of his server space. I'll be able to put more music files up without removing the existing ones ^_^

Added two new Escaflowne songs and a remix of the Speed Racer theme.

August 26, 1998
Added another song, called If You.

I changed the "intro" page by adding a simple Flash-enabled animation. For those who can't view it but want to, try downloading the Shockwave Flash plug-in (178k) It enables you to view animated Flash movies which are becoming more common on the web.

I've found a way to get more disk space ;) Not a humongous amount, but enough to let me post a couple more MP3s. So, I've returned Empty the Pocket. If anyone's got a request from Escaflowne: Over the Sky, feel free to let me know.

Someone requested that I put up the ending song Mystic Eyes. Well, I just uploaded it to the server. However, due to the hard drive constraints (this is a free web page, after all), I had to remove Empty the Pocket.

Escaflowne Songs

Yakusoku wa Iranai (I Don't Need Promises)
This is the opening song to Escaflowne. Yakusoku has a grand, symphonic quality to it that really matches the opening sequences of the series. Composed by Yoko Kanno. Performed by Maaya Sakamoto.

Empty the Pocket
This is one of the few vocal insert songs in the series. When Hitomi and Amano-sempai are talking during the first episode, you can hear this song playing on the radio. Thanks to all those who pointed that out to me. The song is really catchy. The mandolin strings in the background creates a unique sound.

If You
A slow, mellow song. Performed in English with a piano background. It's a decent insert song. Feel free to sing along with the lyrics if you'd like. They're straight from the Escaflowne OST2 CD booklet.

Cat's Delicacy
Weird song, but catchy. This is probably Meruru's character song.

Tomodachi (Friends)
I'd have to say that this is my second favourite song after Yakusoku wa Iranai. A simple, peaceful, and beautiful. Peformed by Maaya Sakamoto.

ESCAFLOWNE Nippon Sunrise & TV Tokyo
These songs are strictly for evaluation purposes only.
If you do not own the CDs, please delete them from your hard drive within 24 hours.

Other Songs

Speed Racer Theme Song (Hardcore Version)
Remember the catchy theme song from Speed Racer? This is a mixed version done by Alpha Team in the early 90s. From the way they used bits and pieces of dialogue from the show, I would almost have to label this a hentai version.
Try it, you'll like it.
